Jolly Dancer Standard – an ideal glider. This is the characteristic that fits best for this jerk – bait that “works” with jerks of any strength. That is the way “Jolly” is. Made of Siberian cedar it has a great swim capability and the well selected two point load creates an ideal balance.
This bait is recommended for novice anglers, seeing that the Jolly Dancer is really simple to work with. The experienced anglers will see the true value of this bait, because this easily controllable glider leaves some room for improvisation. It effectively supports any speed of casting with any strength and speed of jerks.
Initially the Jolly Dancer was used in a very slowly drowning version. After selling a small batch of these baits, we received some negative feedback from our clients. The bait had very good swimming capability in the salty waters of Sweden and Finland so it affected the tactics of catching in a negative way. Seeing that the “Jolly” received two additional grams of weight and started to drown more confidently.

This lure belongs to universal jerk — baits and it is effective in spring, summer and autumn. It is good for catching both small pike and trophy pike.
Ways of casting:
Option 1 (Spring, summer) – After casting and touching water with the jerk, pull it slightly. It is followed by a pause of 2-3 seconds for sinking of a jerk. Followed by four short, light jerks. A pause for 3 seconds.
Option 2 (Spring, summer) - After casting and touching water with the jerk, pull it slightly. It is followed by a pause of 2-3 seconds for sinking of a jerk. Then pulling of moderate strength and even range. No pauses are required.
Option 3 (Autumn) – After casting sink the jerk practically till the bottom. It is followed by a light pull. Repeated in 2 – 3 seconds. It is necessary to perform very soft, cautious pulling.
